The PSEG Institute for Sustainability Studies supports transdisciplinary research and community projects that grow more resilient communities globally. Through partnerships with New Jersey-based and multinational corporations and organizations, the center addresses local and global sustainability challenges including climate change, emissions, energy, clean water, waste, food and food insecurity. The PSEG Institute is the home of the Green Teams Internship Program, a trans-disciplinary internship program that places teams of students from around the country with corporations, organizations, non-profits, municipalities and community groups to address sustainability issues identified by host organizations and provides training in core sustainability subjects, hands-on experience with sustainability skills, guidance in professional development and communication, and team building.
