Dr. Andrada Ivanescu develops statistical methodology and software to estimate parameters of statistical models using observed data. Her research concentrates on statistical inference and computational statistics. In the area of functional data analysis, she estimates the dependence among observed functions using computationally efficient statistical methods for prediction and inference.
