Prior to arriving at Montclair State University, Dr. Ravinder worked in the pharmaceutical industry, primarily Johnson & Johnson, for 12 years in various market analytics and market research functions. Before his stint in industry he taught for 15 years in the business school at the University of New Mexico. Dr.  Ravinder has undergraduate and graduate degrees in engineering and his Ph.D. is in operations management from the University of Texas at Austin. His teaching and research interests are in the areas of operations management, decision theory, and the teaching of operations management.
