Jaime Grinberg, Ph.D., is a Full Professor of Educational Foundations at Montclair State University. He is a former Chairperson of the department and the past Director of the Educational Foundations for Elementary Teachers undergraduate major at Montclair State University. He served as Acting Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Education and Human Services. Dr. Grinberg directed a school-university partnership (NJNER) involving 23 school districts and Montclair State University. Nationally, he served as Chair of the Committee on Standards for the Council of Learned Societies in Education.
He received his Ph.D. from Michigan State University, and his undergraduate degree is from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel. His MA is from Eastern Michigan University. Born in Argentina, he has lived in Uruguay, Israel, Michigan, and New Mexico before moving to New Jersey. His current research focuses on socio-historical, political, and philosophical foundations of education’s policy, theory, and research dimensions. He has published eight books and anthologies and has 98 papers and book chapters in English and Spanish.
He teaches classes in the philosophical, historical, political, and socio-cultural aspects of education. Professor Grinberg has taught and lectured in Argentina, Mexico, Israel, and the US, among many places. He is regularly a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Humanities at Kibbutzim College in Israel.

Dr. Grinberg teaches classes in the philosophical, historical, political, and socio-cultural aspects of education. Professor Grinberg has taught and lectured in Argentina, Mexico, Israel, and the US, among many places. He is regularly a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Humanities at Kibbutzim College in Israel.
