Dr. Venezia Michalsen, associate professor, has a PhD in Criminal Justice, with a focus on Women and Justice, from the CUNY Graduate Center in New York. Her research interests include: women and justice, and reentry after incarceration. She teaches courses in Statistics, Research Methods, Seminar on Gender and Crime, Human Trafficking, Victimology, Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies, and Criminology. Michalsen served for nearly six years at New York’s Women’s Prison Association as the Director of Analysis and Client Information Systems

Women and justice, and reentry after incarceration.

Statistics, Research Methods, Seminar on Gender and Crime, Human Trafficking, Victimology, Introduction to Women’s and Gender Studies, and Criminology.
