Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, Dr. Jung graduated from Seoul National University (B.B.A.) and George Mason University’s Antonin Scalia Law School (J.D.). He spent 17 years in accounting, law, management consulting, and multinational firms. With his experience as a Vice President in charge of the Global Strategy Division at Mirae Asset Global Investments, he voluntarily left his professional career to earn his Ph.D. degree from The University of Texas at Dallas.
Before joining The Feliciano School of Business, Dr. Jung served as an assistant professor at California State University, Bakersfield. His areas of expertise include: Strategic Management, Global Business, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Legal Environment of Business. Dr. Jung also has extensive Management Consulting experience with companies such as: SK Telecom, Ministry of Security & Public Administration, Samsung, Hyundai Motors, Kia Motors, Daewoo, and Korean Air.
