Project Details
Description
The Foundation's Harold Amos Medical Faculty Development Program was designed to provide four-year awards for postdoctoral research to clinician-scientists from historically underrepresented groups who are committed to developing careers in academia, improving the health of underserved populations, furthering scientific understanding, and eliminating health disparities. These supplemental funds to cohorts 2016 and 2017 of the Harold Amos Faculty Development Program will help scholars to complete their research that was impacted by COVID-19. Due to the pandemic and the delays imposed on research, the original work will incur additional annual fees and also require the services of a research coordinator.
