Centering the margins through empowerment and liberation

Chapter 4 presents clinical supervision activities and interventions focused on centering the margins through empowerment and liberation. This chapter contains five anti-oppressive clinical supervision interventions. This chapter presents a collection of anti-oppressive interventions from interdisciplinary supervision experts with substantial experience in anti-oppressive practices. The interventions span multiple supervision structures, modalities, and supervisees' developmental stages. Each intervention can be purposefully adapted to meet specific needs and intended outcomes within professional practice. Additionally, supervisors are advised to integrate these interventions with their developmental, process, and psychotherapy-based supervision models while centering anti-oppressive goals to aid in the application and praxis of anti-oppressive supervision.
