Abstract
This paper addresses the crucial challenge of physical inactivity in K–12 students within the rapidly evolving educational technology (EdTech) landscape by proposing the Dynamic Pipeline of Technology-Driven Movement Integration (MI) framework and its guiding protocol for the successful implementation of this framework. This novel framework strategically integrates technology with MI principles to create dynamic classrooms where physical activity and learning are synergistic, offering innovative strategies to combat sedentary behaviors and promote active engagement. Realizing the full potential of this integrated approach necessitates a multi-faceted strategy encompassing comprehensive training and professional development for educators, the establishment of supportive policies and school-wide initiatives, and the cultivation of strong partnerships with the community and stakeholders. Furthermore, to optimize and refine this framework, future research should prioritize evaluating its long-term impact on student health and academic outcomes, identifying effective implementation models through comparative studies, exploring the diverse experiences of students and educators via qualitative inquiry, and informing community-level and policy-driven interventions. By providing a structured approach to merging technology and movement, this framework offers a promising avenue for fostering healthier and more effective learning environments in the EdTech era.
