Abstract

A method for simultaneous determination of triadimefon, triadimenol-a, triadimenol-b residues in corn is described. The pesticides were extracted using acetonitrile from sample. Most of lipids in co-extractives were removed by liquid-liquid extraction and gel permeation chromatography. Lutein was removed using solid-phase extraction on a Envi-carb column. The pesticides were finally determined by gas chromatography/mass spectrometry in selective-ion Monitor (SIM) simultaneously. The average recoveries (spiked level 0.05, 0.5 and 2 μg/g) were between 90% and 110%. The relative standard deviation of the method was less than 10% in every case.
