Abstract

This paper investigates the optimization on the energy efficiency of dynamically clustering for naturally scattering deployed cluster-based wireless sensor networks (WSNs). The nodes deployment would be approximated Gaussian distributed in large area for naturally scattering senior nodes. Thus, in this paper we based on the numer-ical results in previous works and further proposed a dynamically clustering scheme to improve the lifetime for large area WSNs. Simulation results show that the proposed dynamically distributed clustering scheme outperforms conventional LEACH scheme with lower scattering circumstances.
