The authors would like to call attention to a typographic error in the description of the fragility model used to assess the probability of bridge failure in this study. Namely, Eq. (2) contains a sign error prior to the logistic function and should instead read (Formula Presented). This error is purely typographical and does not affect the results and conclusions of this study. The authors would also like to clarify that the variable HB in Eqs. (2)–(4) refers to the height of the bridge up to the bridge deck, not the distance from the water surface to the top of the bridge.
