Abstract
The views and observation of the author for the game of football are presented. The author observed that college football is a massive enterprise which is designed to put 11 players on a field which inflated to 80 or more when the second-string offense and defense are included. The author beleived that student athletics should be tolerated but not allowed to hinder the academics.
