Abstract

The panel will focus on the success factors, lessons learned, and best practices for planning, designing, and implementing “real-world” capstone projects in Management Information Systems programs. The panelists are faculty members who are interested in bridging the gap between teaching and practice by providing students with problem-based learning opportunities which enable them to address “real-world” problems and opportunities. The panel will share best practices and processes which contribute to successful partnerships among sponsors, faculty, and students.
