Abstract
This exploratory study examined professional counselor identity through the relationship between wellness and forgiveness in counselors in training (N=72). Participants perceived themselves as experiencing high levels of wellness on the 5F-Wel. The Creative Self and Essential Self predicted HFS-Situations, and the Creative Self accounted for HFS-Others and HFS Total. Implications for counselor education are discussed.
