N2 - Societies and global enterprises are currently facing significant challenges as Industry 4.0 gains importance in the worldwide manufacturing sector. Industry 4.0 presents numerous opportunities for companies to enhance the flexibility and efficiency of their production processes. Enterprise Systems, such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, are crucial to the core operations of global enterprises. As of 2023, the global ERP market has been consistently expanding since 2022, with many enterprises anticipated to invest in ERP software in 2024. With trends like cloud migration, integrating domain-specific solutions into enterprise systems like ERP, and incorporating predictive and analytical systems with Artificial Intelligence, these systems and SAP Business AI implemented systems are expected to remain significant for years to come. The development of new business models can be facilitated by digital platforms and architectures with ERP in the manufacturing industry, aligning with Industry 4.0. The adaptive integrated digital architecture framework (AIDAF) for the Design Thinking approach is anticipated to effectively promote and implement digital platforms and the SAP Business AI program in the manufacturing industry. In this paper, we propose that various SAP Business AI-based digital platforms and systems can be designed and implemented in alignment with Enterprise Digital IT Strategies using the AIDAF for the Design Thinking approach, specifically for the manufacturing industry within the context of Industry 4.0. We contend that the design of digital strategic architecture and related platforms, “Digital Strategic Architecture and Open Healthcare Platform 2030—DSA&OHP2030,” for ERP software design can be developed with AIDAF. The vision of AIDAF applications to enable the SAP Business AI program in the DSA&OHP2030 research initiative is explained and referenced, extending within the context of Society 5.0 and Industry 4.0.
