Abstract
Chapter 5 provides clinical supervision activities and interventions focused on wellness and self-care through acts of compassion and vigilance. This chapter contains five anti-oppressive clinical supervision interventions. Readers of this chapter will find a diverse set of anti-oppressive interventions authored by experts from various disciplines who bring significant expertise in anti-oppressive supervision. The interventions cover a range of supervision formats, modalities, and developmental stages. Designed for adaptability, each intervention can be tailored to meet identified needs and desired outcomes within professional contexts. Supervisors are encouraged to apply these interventions in conjunction with their guiding developmental, process, and psychotherapy-based supervision models while centering anti-oppressive to their anti-oppressive application and reflective praxis. This chapter presents five distinct interventions designed to enhance supervisory practice: Wellness and Self-Care Plan: A Practice of Accountability and Anti-Oppression, Compassion Building Toward Self and Other: IFS and Drama Therapy in Action, Uncovering the Depths: Enhancing Compassion and Vigilance through Guided Imagery, Reclaiming Wellness: Centering Intersectional Identities and Coping in Self-Care, and Radical Healing and Hope within Clinical Supervision.
